# Capture Checklist

## Before recording

- [ ] Close notifications, chat popups, OBS controls, and unrelated windows.
- [ ] Set terminal font large enough to read in a 1920x1080 export.
- [ ] Use a consistent terminal theme and window size.
- [ ] Confirm OBS canvas/output resolution and 30 FPS.
- [ ] Confirm the intended monitor and capture method.
- [ ] Record a 10-second test after any RDP or display change.
- [ ] Verify the test is not black and contains no letterbox surprise.
- [ ] Prepare exact prompts in plain-text files.
- [ ] Prepare the expected product UX URL, but do not expose sensitive IDs unnecessarily.

## During recording

- [ ] Show the exact prompt.
- [ ] Keep agent name and CLI chrome visible.
- [ ] Keep real commands and progress lines visible.
- [ ] Do not switch to unrelated windows.
- [ ] Let key results remain visible for 3-5 seconds.
- [ ] Open the product UX once after the relevant CLI work completes.
- [ ] Capture a clean final UX hold.

## After each clip

- [ ] Record purpose, duration, file size, and SHA-256 in the raw manifest.
- [ ] Check the first, middle, and final frame.
- [ ] Check for OBS/RDP black frames.
- [ ] Confirm the clip contains the expected state, not a later state.
- [ ] Re-record immediately if text is unreadable or the wrong window appears.

## Before delivery

- [ ] Run `validate_video.ps1`.
- [ ] Review all timeline sheets.
- [ ] Review every transition at -1/0/+1 second.
- [ ] Verify no silence exceeds the agreed threshold.
- [ ] Verify no vertical or horizontal distortion.
- [ ] Verify the final checksum after the last render.
